• Account - a business entity or organisation that you sell, deal, or partner with. A good general rule is that if it has a different address, it needs a new Account. An Account can have multiple Contacts.
  • Contact - an individual who you sell, deal, or partner with. Typically, a contact belongs to an Account.
  • Lead a prospect business or person. Often described as a business card. Can be converted into an Account and Contact, and optionally, an Opportunity. Find out about Leads vs Contacts. 
  • Opportunity - in-progress deals that you want to track. These have the potential to make revenue. You can link Opportunities to Campaign's to track how effective a marketing Campaign is. You can create quotes for Opportunities.
